Regular Visits

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

After the investment of time needed on the first and second visits, many patients become concerned that every visit will be of equal length.

In a word: no. We schedule appointments 15 minutes apart, so that we many better serve you, but we are mindful if you are on a tight schedule. We also understand if you need to move slower than you used to.

A typical visit begins with you relaxing on the modalities table for a few minutes. The Chiropractic Assistants (Shannon, Brandy or Molly) will make you comfortable with whatever modality that Dr. Jill has recommended, whether it’s heat, ice, traction or electrical stimulation. For 10 relaxing minutes, you have nothing to do but just “BE.”  Then you will move into Dr. Jill’s treatment room, and be adjusted. The actual adjustment only takes a few minutes, but Dr. Jill understands that in order for you to heal, your body needs down time.

Like a regular workout at the gym, each visit builds on the ones before.  Just as creating a habit takes 21 days of daily repetition (try brushing your teeth with the opposite hand, or automatically getting out of bed on the other side), we need to build a healthy habit of changes from your brain to your tissues.  Once this neural network has been set and you ‘hold’ your adjustments, your visits will decrease.  We will do everything in our power to make this happen!
